In 1979, the president was assassinated and he died outright. The people including "Park Tae-ju", who was at the site, are arrested for rebellion and about to be sentenced to death.
In order to extricate them from the case, the human rights lawyers form a defense counsel, and "Jeong In-hu" who's obsessed with winning, defends the suit for Park Tae-ju unconventionally.
Meanwhile, after a fierce debate, lawyers find decisive clues to break the trial, but the military, which has taken the power, is trying to close the case rapidly.
In response, Jung In-hu begins to use all means to save Park Tae-ju. Who will be the winner in this court?
